Our goal in this project was to improve the recruiting functionalities and make recruiters’ workflows easier. Since user personas already existed, we started by reviewing that information to identify what was still missing and better understand the real problems we needed to address.

Next, in collaboration with the researcher assigned to People Matter, we planned how to fill those gaps. We organized several user testing, card sorting, and interview sessions with users in different recruiting roles, including recruiting managers and recruiters.

User testing helped us identify issues in the existing interface, card sorting allowed us to understand how users preferred to organize information, and interviews gave participants space to talk in depth about their day-to-day recruiting processes.
